# circle edit
# circle edit tutorial

Hi everyone. This tutorial is going to explain how to make a circle edit. It’s really simple and quick. We will be making something like this:
1. Open photoshop and your image [File > Open].
2. Resize your photo, add your psd, sharpen, topaz, etc.
3. Now make sure that your photo is on it’s own tab, like this:
4. Now double click on your “background layer” and this will pop up:
Click OK.
5. Go to the shape tools button that should look like this:
or any other shape, really and right click. Select “ellipse tool”.
6. Go to your photo and draw a circle over it.
7. Right click your photo and select “make selection” and this will pop up:
Just click OK.
8. Go up to your “rectangular marquee tool” that looks like this
and go to your photo and right click. Select “select inverse”.
9. Go to your layers area and make sure “background layer” is selected.
10. Find your eraser tool which should look like this
. Right click to make sure “eraser tool” is selected. Now for this part I usually go up to the top to make the eraser bigger to make this next step easier. Click on your button that looks like this
make your number bigger before the _px.
11. Go to your background/bottom layer, right click, and select “flatten image”.
12. Go to your image and slide the eraser around until it erases everything. The color that your new background is going to be will be the second one here:
. So if you would like white, make it white. You can make the background here whatever color you would like it to be. Here I was showing you that it can be a purple type color if you would like, just click on the second one and choose another color. Make sure that as you erase it you erase every little piece of the background.
13. That’s it. Just save and upload to tumblr!
I hope that helped you. If you have any problems, send me an ask.

This tutorial is going to show how to remove a tag or a watermark from an image. The photo will go from this to this.
1. Open your photo [File > Open] and resize, add coloring, topaz, etc.
2. Now find the clone stamp tool which looks like this:
and right click and select “clone stamp tool” and go your image.
3. Push down on the ALT button and click on a spot in the background that you would like your tag to look like instead. Now click on the watermark. Repeat the process over and over with you clicking on different spots in the background to keep it even and eventually your tag should disappear. Bear in mind that if your image’s background is not a solid color it will never completely look perfect.
4. That’s really it. If you need any help, send me an ask.
Quite a few people have asked me for some recs and what i’ve used on graphics ‘x’ ‘y’ and ‘z’ so I thought i’d go all out and make a post about it. Enjoy!
